• Graduated with a degree in Oil Painting from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, Vietnam, in 2010.
• Recognized as one of the top 10 outstanding young artists in Ho Chi Minh City by the City of Melbourne, Australia, in 2010.
• Featured in the Special Exhibition of the Young Artists’ Club, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2010.
• Participated in the “30 Years of the Fine Arts Association” Art Exhibition, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2016.
• Art Exhibition in Taiwan in 2016 with the work “Leaves.”
• 2022: Received an Encouragement Award from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association for the painting “Multicolored Clouds.”
• “My Cloud” won the B Prize of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association.
• 2023: Participated in the National Fine Arts Exhibition 2023 with the work “Cloud.”

Artist’s Statement:

• I do not aim to replicate or record reality but rather create images that evoke layers of emotions, bridging the gap between reality and illusion…
• The colors in my paintings serve as a language to express complex emotions and diverse psychological states, breaking all boundaries, allowing colors and lines to freely dance across the canvas…

“The Tangibility of space” can be interpreted as electromagnetic frequencies or spiritual vibrations that humans cannot directly perceive through the senses. With this title, Nguyễn Thành Nhân’s first solo abstract painting exhibition at Maii Art Space invites viewers to explore what has been lost, what has passed… but still leaves its imprint on our minds. The exhibition’s title is not just a name but a gateway leading viewers into the artist’s unique world.
