“Homeland” is the title and the main theme of this exhibition, a name chosen by People’s Artist Trà Giang herself. Simplicity is, after all, what is most beautiful and genuine.
On this occasion, pianist Bích Trà – People’s Artist Trà Giang’s only daughter—will return from abroad to attend the opening of her mother’s exhibition and participate in the performance of Tchaikovsky & Beethoven’s Night. This concert, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, will take place at 8:00 PM on October 26 – 27 at the Municipal Theatre.
The exhibition “Homeland” by People’s Artist Trà Giang will officially open at 5:30 PM on October 20, 2024, at Maii Art Space (72/7 Trần Quốc Toản, Võ Thị Sáu Ward, District 3, HCMC) and will continue until October 30, 2024.
During the exhibition, the documentary “The River of Memories” (directed by Nguyễn Thước) will be screened. This is the latest documentary about People’s Artist Trà Giang, which was recently presented at the 14th European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival in Ho Chi Minh City on September 7, 2024.
